The MDW Makers Circle is a monthly gathering for women who enjoy creating with their hands and connecting with others in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Whether you're a lifelong maker or someone who hasn't picked up a creative hobby in years, this is a space to slow down, try something new, and spend time in community. Each month, we'll explore a simple project together or gather around the table to work on our own creative pursuits. No experience is necessary. Just curiosity and a willingness to create alongside others.
When: First Sunday of each month
Time: 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Place: House of 423, Geneva, IL
Theme for August - Pressed Wildflowers in Glass Frames
Create a beautiful botanical keepsake using pressed flowers and floating glass frames. Participants will design their own piece to take home.
We will provide for each participant:
a 6 x 4 Inch Hanging Double Glass Frame
dried flowers (If you would like, please bring your own flowers from your own garden to use in your frame!)
Supplies to secure your flowers to the glass frame
